I started programming in August 2018 through a YouTube Channel called "Curso em Vídeo", 3 months later I joined the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Pará, in Belém, where I'm currently taking an associate degree course in Systems Analysis and Development.

At the college we had some classes about algorithm, data structures, web development, database, in addition to other fundamental concepts of computing. Even though we learned a lot, I knew that it was not enough to get a job, so when the pandemic came in I decided to, once for all, understand how a web system works.

At first, I thought about PHP, started practicing it, but for some reasons I didn't like it. Then, I decided to learn it using Javascript as it is a front and back-end language. So, I remembered about Rocketseat, a brazilian education company that used to be focused on teaching Javascript. After completing their free courses and events I finally understood how the front end connects to the back end. Today I'm walking to the end of the college and trying to improve both soft and hard skills.
